  • Does Rhino have necessary equipment and training to do the demolition?

    Rhino team all have fully trained to the industry standard, and take safety extremely seriously. We have all the necessary equipment to finish the job in a safe and timely manner.

  • Does Rhino dispose all the garbage after demolition and clean the site?

    Yes, after our demolition work is done, we will dispose of all the construction materials. We clean up the site to ensure we leave no debris behind and make it safe for everyone to come and work there.

Junk Removal

  • What items can Rhino remove?

    The items we most often help people get rid of are mattresses, couches, other types of furniture, and electronics. We can take almost anything two people can lift and load, as long as it's not toxic or hazardous. We can remove your items from wherever they’re located, whether it’s your garage, backyard, attic, or anywhere else—all you have to do is the point!

  • What items does Rhino not accept?

    The list of unaccepted items varies across locations, as we must adhere to local regulations in each location. Generally, we aren’t able to take anything toxic or hazardous and are also unable to take car or truck chassis. Here are a few items we typically do not accept:

    • Chemicals, Solvents & Oils

    • Asbestos Materials

    • Storage & Oil Drums (unless empty and top & bottom cut out)

    • Oil & Waste Storage Tanks

    • Food waste

  • Does Rhino remove paint?

    Some locations can take paint, while others aren’t able to accept it. This is due to differences in local regulations in every location. For those that can take paint, please note that they often require the paint to be thoroughly dried before they can remove it. If you have paint that you need to get rid of, give us a call, and we’ll let you know if your location can take it.

  • Can Rhino remove drywall?

    Yes, we do take drywalls; however, due to recent changes in drywall recycling, special procedures and reporting is required. If your drywall is older than 1990, you will need lab results confirming no asbestos. If it is newer than 1990, you will need to prove it with an original date stamp (from the factory) on the back of the drywall board. In either case, you will need to provide to our drivers a signed declaration.

  • What does Rhino do with all the junk?

    Our goal is always to be as environmentally responsible as possible, while being sure to follow local regulations. We do our best to keep items out of the landfill by donating the donatable and recycling the recyclables as much as we can.

Delivery

  • What items Rhino can deliver?

    We can pick up any construction material and deliver it to your job site as long as we can fit it in our truck.

  • What Items Rhino do not deliver?

    We do not deliver household and furniture items. We are not a moving company and are not equipped with moving equipment.

  • Can I get an exact price before you arrive?

    No, we can’t give you an exact price over the phone.

    For some single-item removals and delivery, we can give you an estimated price before the appointment, but the final price will always be given onsite. The best way to get a price is to book a free, no-obligation onsite estimate here. 

  • What is Rhino no obligation onsite estimate?

    We want to make sure we give you an accurate price. Since we price based on how much space your items take up in the truck for junk removal, or type of demolition work you have, or the size, weight and distance your items needs to be delivered, we need to see your items in person before we can give you a final price.

    As soon as the friendly, uniformed team arrives, they’ll look at all the items you want to have removed, demolished or delivered and provide an exact price before starting the work.

    We only complete the job if you are happy with the price, so if you choose not to proceed, just say the word, and we’ll be on our way. 

  • How does Rhino charge for junk removal?

    We price based on how much space your items take up in the back of our truck, broken down into ⅛, ¼, ½, ¾ of a truckload, all the way up to a full truckload. Our trucks hold the equivalent of ten pickup trucks.

    Our prices vary based on location. There is a minimum charge for our teams to remove your items, which is different in each location, based on several factors, including local disposal and recycling fees.

    We offer single-item pricing for specific items such as mattresses or TVs, sometimes, this will be less than our minimum charge. 

    For materials with a heavy cubic weight, like dirt, concrete, and gravel, junk pricing is based on the total volume that the material takes up in the truck, up to a maximum of one foot in height for an entire truck.

  • How much Rhino charge for demolition Services?

  • How much Rhino charge for delivery service?

  • What methods of payments do you accept?

    We accept cash and major credit cards, and E-Transfer.

  • How do I cancel or change my appointment?

    You can always change or cancel your appointment at any time. Call us at (778) 871-5550, and we'll be happy to help you make changes to your appointment.

  • Can you remove my junk if I’m not onsite?

    It depends on where you’re located. We can get the job done even if you aren't home, as long as the items are easily accessible, and the team can take payment over the phone. However, some locations do require you to be at home to remove your items.

  • Do you offer a No Contact Junk Removal service?

  • When should I expect you to arrive?

    On the day of your appointment with us, our friendly, uniformed truck team members will give you a call 15-30 minutes before the start of your two-hour promise window. They’ll say hi, let you know when they plan to arrive and confirm any other details about your appointment if needed.

    Unlike most of our competitors with 10’ feet or fewer dumpster trucks, ours is 16’ feet. Therefore, we can carry a larger amount of junk without needing to return back again and charge you for another load. Our goal is to save you time and money.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    We operate from Monday to Saturday from 8AM to 5PM. and you can always book online to find an appointment time that works for you.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

    Yes, we're fully licenced and insured! We have insurance covering damages to both persons and property for every single booking

  • What happens to my junk once you haul it away?

    We try to keep junk out of landfill when we can. We do this through various methods, including recycling and donating reusable household or commercial items to local charities.

  • Why is Rhino concerned with its environmental impact?

    We believe that what we do today has a cumulative effect on all of our tomorrow. Our corporate obligations include any aspects of our business that impact society, the environment, and our people - customers, Franchise Partners, and employees.
